Bad actors hacked Twitter account of CEO of Sandbox
The co-founder and CEO of The Sandbox, a well-known blockchain-based metaverse platform, has unfortunately been targeted by malicious individuals who gained unauthorized access to his Twitter account. Arthur Madrid, the head of The Sandbox, has informed his followers of this security breach.
He also says that people should be cautious when clicking links, particularly those that do not use The Sandbox’s official domain name.
“My Twitter was hacked today. and now is back. Please never click on any link that promotes airdrop or URL and looks SCAMMY – and not 100% using our proper and unique URL/domain name: http://sandbox.game.”
According to The Sandbox, the culprits created an illusion that the platform was giving away SAND tokens with the intention of luring people to a website that could potentially jeopardize their personal and financial data.
