Someone responded to the chart with: “It’s an interesting chart, but can you explain how you derived it? The prices for BTC are evident on RHS but what are prices and time period for ETH start to end? I fully believe the cryptos that will stand the test of time are the ones that have committed devs investing in IP.”
Scalability, a key factor that drives adoption
The online publication the Daily Hodl writes that scalability will be a key factor that drives adoption rates for ETH. Developers are working hard to boost the blockchain’s maximum number of TPS. The current limit if only 15.
Weiss Crypto Ratings says Ethereum’s long-term success hangs in the balance.
“Chronic congestion on the Ethereum network shows worldwide adoption, most important factor in the long-term success of any crypto. However, if nothing changes, ETH users will start looking for alternatives. That’s why ETH 2.0 is necessary for Ethereum to move forward.”
Anyway, at the moment of writing this article, ETH is trading in the green, and the coin is priced at $149.11.
