Bitcoin Will Become Vital In The Near Future
The crypto market looks pretty bloody today with the most important coins trading in the red.
At the moment of writing this article, BTC is also trading in the red and the coin is priced at $10,377.37.
According to recent reposts coming from the online publication the Daily Hodl, podcaster, announcer, and entrepreneur Adam Curry says everyone should have Bitcoin in their portfolio.
The importance of Bitcoin is huge
During a new interview with Joe Rogan, Curry said that the king coin is able to offer a form of insurance against a global calamity.
“This is why Silicon Valley is competing with the US Federal Reserve to be a bank. Everybody wants to be your bank, baby, because that’s when they control you.,” he said.
He continued and said “That’s also when you get loans at negative interest rates so they actually pay you to take the loan, with which you can pay off your student loan…You wanted universal basic income – here it comes. And by the way, it’s going to work… But let me tell you, the apocalypse is coming and you’re going to need the Bitcoin. At least one.”
Curry also explained the fact that his outlook has changed with the recent Fed policy.
“No. I was very anti Bitcoin until I sold a shitload of them at like $900 and I could’ve made a lot of money. I got them for nothing. People just gave them to me at the beginning for nothing and I denied it.”
Regarding the security and stability of the king coin, Curry said that this is the one and only currency that cannot be manipulated.
”I dont own altcoins and all that stuff….Ten years of data have shown that Bitcoin really is the only one that you can trust. The way I see it is that’s the only one that you cannot manipulate and all the other coins are based off of it…” he said.
He gave an example the US dollar which diminished by 10% due to the fact that it’s been printed more and more money.
CoinMarketCap is a website that provides cryptocurrency market cap rankings, charts, and more. It was purchased by Binance for $400M in 2020.
