NFTs Are The Next Frontier Of Digital Assets, Bitcoin Billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya Says

Venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya said that we’d soon be seeing an explosion in crypto art and NFTs.

During a new interview with Bloomberg Markets and Finance, he said that NFTs are the next frontier in the digital asset space.

“I am building a fairly sizeable portfolio of what are called NFTs (non-fungible tokens). Some digital art, some virtual trading cards, and these may sound crazy to some, but I do think that that’s the next frontier of digital currency and digital assets, and so I have been building a portfolio.”

Going public with investments

Palihapitiya adds his team was going to make their crypto investments public in the coming weeks or months.

“We will publicize everything we own, and we will make our holdings transparent so that folks can track along and see as we buy and sell things. So that’s coming in a few months. I’m not really ready to show the details of exactly what we hold yet, but I’m really excited. Maybe in a few weeks, actually. I’m very excited. We’re almost ready to tell the world.”

Someone commented: “Don’t ever make the mistake of believing that market success has to come to you fast. Trade small, stay in the game, persist and eventually, you’ll reach a satisfying level of proficiency.”

Another person on YouTube said: “I like the guy. I liked this interview. Very happy that he wasn’t interrupted, no one was screaming and that the interviewer was asking questions, not pushing a personal agenda. Chamath seems authentic to me. Even if it comes from an egotistical place, the best way for a long term sustainable ego boost is to change the world for the better. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m being fooled, but I support him and until I see evidence to the contrary will continue to do so.”

It’s definitely a certainty that NFTs are growing in popularity at a really fast pace.
