Ripple Announces New Bank Customer To Use Its Global Payments Network In The Cloud

Ripple has been making headlines a lot lately due to various achievements.

It’s been just reported that Ripple says Bank Rendikmento is the very first bank to use Ripple’s tech entirely in the cloud and this entity is joining the almost two dozens institutions including Azimo

As you already know by now, MoneyGram, Pontual, Viamericas, and more already running on RippleNet Cloud.

Growing the RipplenEt ecosystem in Brazil

“We first announced plans to grow the RippleNet ecosystem in Brazil a year ago and with Banco Rendimento migrating to RippleNet Cloud, we’re excited to see our footprint in the region continue to grow. Brazil continues to lead in FinTech innovation and is well-positioned to forge a path for the rest of Latin America to follow,” according to Luiz Antonio Sacco, Managing Director, Latin America at Ripple.

80% of new RippleNet customers have opted for Cloud deployment

According to the latest reports, Ripple’s data reveals that “in the last six months, more than 80% of new RippleNet customers have opted for Cloud deployment and 30% of all RippleNet payments are being sent and/or received through RippleNet Cloud.”

Just to refresh your memory, RippleNet Cloud enables banks and financial institutions to boost their business benefits and advantages with faster speeds of innovation. This also lowers the total cost of ownership.
