Ripple had a great 2019, and the company managed to gain a lot of recognition during the past year.
The San Francisco-based firm bagged important partnerships while at the same time, making sure to promote its products and boost the XRP ecosystem.
Unlike more projects, Ripple did not seem to focus on the prices of digital assets, and Brad Garlinghouse said more than once that there are more important issues to focus on these days in the crypto space.
Such issues include the technology behind a project, adoption, and developing more real-world use cases.
Ripple is expanding its team
Ripple has also been working on expanding its team across the world.
The senior director of talent acquisition at Ripple said that the company is looking for a new senior software engineer.
The position, based in London, is designed to help the company “build the next generation of payment applications that enable banks to instantly settle cross-border payments to create the internet of value,” as cited by the online publication the Daily Hodl.
Ripple does not explicitly say whether the new engineer will be building on the XRP Ledger, but it has been revealed that this new position will definitely be focused on creating innovative solutions to help banks execute settlements in a matter of seconds.

Ripple enthusiasts and XRP fans want someone hired that can bring mass adoption. Here’s what one user tweeted:
“Hire someone that’s gonna help get mass adoption. Being able to dump on us (1 billion per month for five years) that have been here over three years and never waivered isn’t fair. The crazy part is at these prices we’re the only ones getting fuc*ed. I’ll say this until my face is blue.”
XRP in the crypto market
As we said, even though Ripple is not that focused on prices, the XRP army of fans is still waiting to see a boost in the price of their favorite coin.
This boost is expected to mirror all the achievements of the company and the digital asset as well.
At the moment of writing this article, XRP is trading in the green, just like more important coins in the crypto market.
XRP is priced at $0.197101. Predictions are bullish, and XRP is expected to break resistance at $0.2.
