Ripple has been making great efforts to boost the whole XRP ecosystem, but to also push the mass adoption of the digital asset.
Ripple’s product ODL, which was previously known as xRapid, is powered by XRP and has been trying to overcome the flaws of the traditional payments system SWIFT.
This has been used by banks and financial institutions for decades now, but along the way, it became flawed, and the need for innovation is more stringent.
Via ODL, Ripple offers clients instant, cheap, and secure cross-border transactions.

Ripay gets an honorable mention
Ripay is an app that allows users to send XRP through popular messaging platforms like Telegram, Discord, Matrix, and Slack and it received an honorable mention.
Ripay programmer Kuyawa Kata said that the idea is to make it easier to send money worldwide by tapping on messaging apps used by billions of people.
“Powered by the Ripple network and the XRP Ledger, it allows you to send money around the world in seconds with nothing more than a simple message like ‘Pay 10 to George,’ and now thanks to the PayID protocol, you can send payments to external users without knowing their Ripple address, ‘just Pay 10 to george$ripay.me’ and the money moves like a message in just a second,” he said.
