In a market marked by a bearish trend and price crashes, Ripple’s digital asset managed to hold on in there throughout 2018.
Back in September, XRP even saw a bull run and its price jumped 200%, showing that the community’s efforts throughout the year have been paying off.
With its many developments and ongoing achievements, XRP managed to climb on the second spot in term of market capitalization at almost $15 billion.
This led to more and more exchanges offering support for the digital asset and also listing interesting pairs.
Bitrue is the latest crypto exchange to decide that Ripple’s XRP is a great option.
Bitrue adds XRP trading pairs
Bitrue is a crypto exchange with more offices across US and Japan, and they announced just today, December 28 that they decided to add XRP: “We’re happy to announce that we will be on-boarding all #XRP trading pairs in the next couple of months!”
The trading is scheduled to begin by the start of January.
It seems that even if it’s a known fact that XRP will be paired with five cryptos, their identity has not been revealed yet.
The platform seems to be expecting feedback, and they are looking for suggestions from the community before pairing XRP:
“We’re planning to add five pairs in the 1st week of 2019, so please give us a shout on your most needed #XRP pair!”
They also plan to see the mart’s reaction to their announcement: “We also want to encourage all our partners to reach out if you want to be prioritized in supporting the XRP pair! “
Binance added XRP as a base pair
This exciting announcement comes right after Binance added XRP as a base pair.
The Ripple community has been trying really hard to convince Binance CEO to take this step, and their efforts combined with Ripple’s achievements seem to pay off.
“Binance will add TRX/XRP and XZC/XRP trading pairs with XRP as the quote asset into the new Combined ALTS Trading Market (ALTS) at 2018/12/24 11:00 AM (UTC),” Zhao recently announced.
