Tron (TRX) Is Better Than Ethereum (ETH), Says Blockstream CEO And Receives Backlash

Tron was recently in the spotlight when the CEO Justin Sun finally got his wish and dined with Warren Buffet.

He also made sure to gift the legendary investor, Berkshire Hathaway CEO, his very first Bitcoin.

On January 23, then this happened, Sun also said that the fact that he gifted Buffet one BTC led to the rise in price for the coin back then.

As you know by now, Bitcoin is currently undergoing a correction these days, after the most important coin in the market was able to surpass $10k.

Blockstream CEO says Tron is better than Ethereum

Nw, Blockstream CEO Adam Back said that he did not understand the difference between ETH and Tron. But he claimed that Trin is probably better.

People responded to the tweet.

A Twitter user said: “TRX is by far more centralized than ETH, which may be fine for gambling/gaming apps, but is def not ideal for defi.”

Someone else posted this: “Side chains, fast tps, multiple programming languages, low fees and a Foundation that’s not busy trying to scale an unscalable product but instead making connections and building a dynasty will a fully scalable solution. Eth is over.”

Someone else responded this to the tweet above:

“Their ex-CTO explains it pretty well. TRON owns the nodes. “The DPOS mechanism of TRON is pseudo-decentralized. The top 27 SR nodes (block nodes) have more than 170 million TRX votes, and most of them are controlled by TRON.” Ethereum is about DECENTRALIZING the world.”

Another Twitter user said: “Tron I think is better at marketing and attracting noobs. ETH, on the other hand, may not attract noobs but attracts big corporations. It’s like Ford Motors (ETH) and Tron (hotwheels). That’s the difference.”

A lot of people slammed Back for being in the position that he’s in and not knowing the difference between the two entities.

Justin Sun said that Tron might be moving to Liquid

Before this, Tron’s CEO said that there’s a probability that Tron might be moving to Blockstream’s sidechain-based settlement network called Liquid while retweeting his photo with Back.

The community did not seem to take this announcement too seriously.
