Twitter Considers Adding Tipping Feature – BTC To Be Integrated?
Crypto has made its way into a lot of industries and businesses during 2019 and 2020 is expected to be an even more successful year.
There have been a lot of optimistic crypto-related predictions regarding the prices for the digital assets this year, but also regarding developments and all kinds of achievements in the crypto space.
One important goal remains the mainstream adoption of cryptos and their underlying technology as well.
In 2019, there have been a lot of moves towards the achievement of this goal and these continue this year as well.
Tipping feature could be added to Twitter
It’s been reported that you might be able to send tips to your favorite personalities on Twitter sometime in the future.
The social media giant plans to undergo a few product changes in roder to enhance its UX says a recent report published by The Information.
One change is the addition of a tipping feature.
The Daily Hodl online magazine noted that Jack Dorsey, chief executive of Twitter and Square, is a fan of BTC, and his fondness for the crypto sparked the formation of Square’s crypto division.
The man also plans to introduce BTC to 1.2 billion people in Africa.
You can check out his tweet in which he says he wants to bring BTC to Africa: “Sad to be leaving the continent…for now. Africa will define the future (especially the bitcoin one!). Not sure where yet, but I’ll be living here for 3-6 months mid-2020. Grateful I was able to experience a small part.”
The news was received with a lot of enthusiasm.

Co-founder and CEO of Twitter and Square, Dorsey has been an advocate for Bitcoin since the early days. Having launched a crypto division of Square early this year (called Cash App - which helps newcomers buy Bitcoin), Dorsey is now making plans to lead the way to mass BTC adoption in Africa.
