United Nations Recognizes IOTA’s (MIOTA) Outstanding Performance

IOTA (MIOTA) has proved to the world that it has different use cases worthy of mentioning. Interestingly, the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and IOTA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance efficiency and transparency in UN work.

In a press statement separately dished out by the two partners in New York and Berlin, it was indicated that both firms are to research how IOTA’s innovative technology can increase the efficiency of UNOPS operations.

On different occasions, IOTA has been proving to be excellent. Recently, the firm was celebrated at the largest industrial trade fair in Hannover Messe, Germany, with many tech companies coming out to showcase IOTA’s exciting use cases.

Meanwhile, UNOPS is looking up to IOTA to gain technological prowess to make the section drive UN technologically with ease.

“We share a vision where machines, devices, sensors and people connect and communicate to each other — it’s the world of ‘Industry 4.0.’ Harnessing technology that allows for these processes to work simultaneously, without the need for intermediaries, will help expedite our mission as an organization,” Yoshiyuki Yamamoto, UNOPS Special Advisor on Blockchain Technology.

Meanwhile, IOTA Co-Founder Dominik Schiener who welcome the idea stated: “We are thrilled to begin working together with UNOPS and to tackle current and future challenges together. The IOTA Foundation is fully committed to putting the IOTA Tangle to work on behalf of important humanitarian and development causes.”

IOTA is deploring distributed ledger for UNOPS. The ledger has the power to provide a greater level of efficiency in the management and tracking of UN documents, supply chains and transactional payments in real-time.

Doing this will make the DL-powered innovation accessible to both UNOPS and its partners, to enhance efficiency in everything connected to the UN.

At the same time, the collaboration includes training, workshops, thought leadership seminars, and the development of specific proof-of-concepts to bring greater efficiencies to specific areas of UNOPS work, the statement concluded.

The grip that IOTA has on technology in recent time cannot be overemphasized. In automobile and other tech areas, IOTA is performing excellently.
