As we’ve already said, the mainstream adoption of Bitcoin and digital assets has probably been the most important goal for 2019.
Things have been going great in this direction and the crypto industry is racing towards the achievement of this goal.
Just as Ripple’s Brad Garlinghouse said more than once, prices are not the only thing that matters in the crypto space.
Mass adoption of digital currencies and more real-world use cases are far more important.
Crypto adoption intensifies in Venezuela
Burger king Venezuela confirmed a new partnership with CryptoBuyer via Instagram.
The fast food giant revealed that customers can now pay with popular crypto, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Binance Coin, Ethereum, and Tether.
CryptoBuyer PoS system rolls out as a pilot in an effort to serve all 40 locations nationwide in 2020.
The official announcement made by the Dash team stated the following:
“Burger King has been training its teams and stores during the past weeks and will slowly roll out Dash payments into all stores in Venezuela, with plans to also accept the other cryptocurrencies in Cryptobuyer’s portfolio.”

Needless to say, the announcement triggered massive excitement in the community.
Venezuela is perfect for deploying real-world crypto solutions
Cryptobuyer CEO Jorge Farias also had a few words to say on the matter and pointed out the following, as cited by the online publication the Daily Hodl.
“The growth of Cryptobuyer in South America, especially in Venezuela, is another example of how this region is ahead of the curve in adopting cryptocurrency as a real method of payment,” he said.
He continued and explained that Venezuela, fortunately, has a mixture of circumstances that make this country “a perfect place to deploy real-world cryptocurrency solutions – hyperinflation, cash shortages, deteriorated banking and communication infrastructure.”
Regarding the crypto market today, things are looking good with most coins trading in the green at the moment of writing this article.
It’s also important to mention that 2020 kicked off with highly optimistic Bitcoin predictions.
