Bitcoin-related predictions have been intensifying and have been getting more bullish with each passing day. And this will definitely not change, especially with BTC racing towards $9,000.
Tone Vays predicts a fall for BTC
Despite this recent wave of publicly expressed BTC bullish predictions, Tone Vays seems to not change his mind at all.
In the short term, according to the Daily Hodl, the derivatives trader and blockchain researcher remains bearish on Bitcoin.
He predicted that BTC would drop to the $4,200-4,500 price range by the second half of June.
During a recent interview on MMCrypto, Vays highlighted his belief that BTC would top out at around $9,400 this month, though he adds that the currency “could drop sub-$7,000 any hour.”
He said that “Everyone has already declared that the bottom is in. I am still a little skeptical, so I may be the last bear left, but I still think that we’re not out of the woods. I don’t trust this rally. I don’t believe this run-up. I want Bitcoin to go up as much as the next guy, but I want it to go up sustainably.”
FOMO and tax guidance
A lot of crypto experts are expecting BTC to soon hot the psychological level of $10.
After that, they say that the FOMO will be unleashed into the mainstream and it will be pouring with investors in the crypto space.
Also, institutional investment is expected as well, and this is said that will be triggering the mass adoption of crypto.
More than that, regulation is on its way, according to the IRS, and this will also support the mainstream adoptions of cryptocurrencies.
IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig stated, “I share your belief that taxpayers deserve clarity on basic issues related to the taxation of virtual currency transactions and have made it a priority of the IRS to issue guidance.”
He also stated that the IRS has been working with “internal and external stakeholders.”
