Lolli was recently in the spotlight when a controversy popped up and confused people.
Lolli and Alibaba rumors were killed
You may recall that the crypto space got all excited not too long ago following a piece of news involving the e-commerce giant Alibaba.
Alibaba, which is China’s e-commerce giant, was said to be teaming up with the Bitcoin rewards platform Lolli.
CEO and co-founder of Lolli, Alex Adelman, stated the following not too long ago:
“This is a milestone partnership for Lolli as Alibaba is the largest retailer and e-commerce company in the world, launching on Single’s Day, the world’s largest shopping day of the year.”
After that, e-commerce giant Alibaba slammed these rumors and said that it doesn’t have any partnerships with the platform Lolli.
Lolli is teaming up with Nike
Now, it’s been revealed that the online service which allows users to pay for daily items with Bitcoin at more than 750 e-commerce stores said that they are teaming up with Nike.
Lolli’s management said that its crypto payment customers would get BTC rewards when users shop online for shoes, apparel, and other Nike items.
Users will be able to earn up to 3% BTC back when they buy fitness apparel, Nike sneakers, and equipment through Lolli’s store page.
More than that, according to the online publication the Daily Hodl, Lolli said that they are rolling out a holiday deal in order to celebrate the launch of its newest partner.
Lolli might also be eyeing Elon Musk and Tesla
It’s also worth noting that earlier this month, CNBC revealed that Lolli made the top 100 startups list.

They are also reportedly eyeing Tesla as a potential partner, and the team at Lolli gave a shoutout last week to Elon Musk, who revealed the company’s $39,900 Cybertruck pickup. Just check out the tweet above.
