Cardano was recently in the spotlight when a pretty bullish prediction popped up in the crypto space.
We also pointed out two platforms where you can trade ADA without any commission.
Binance US – the platform is created for American traders, and it has similar features to Binance. Users get 30 days fee-free trading when they sign up, and they get a bonus of $15 for completing Fiat Verification.
Voyager – this is a new platform, and it’s gradually growing. The platform gives fee-free trading for more than 30 digital assets, including ADA.
Addressing use cases for DLT
Charles Hoskinson said that his team is currently working with a consortium in the EU to address use cases for DLT.
The group’s efforts point to one of the hottest tech trends in 2020, and the companies are going on with the exploration of DLT based tech.
Hoskinson said that a research paper that details the findings would be released during the course of this summer.
The consortium is called Priviledge, and it acquired funds from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
Privacy issues related to the mass adoption of DLT are debated
This aims to address privacy issues that are related to the mainstream adoption of DLT.
“Although based on cryptographic techniques at their core, the currently deployed DLTs do not address privacy…” the group said.
They continued and explained the following: “New cryptographic techniques and protocols are therefore needed to protect the data, facilitate these applications, and make DLTs deliver on their promises.”
The online publication the Daily Hodl revealed that “The consortium members are Guardtime, IBM, the University of Tartu, Eindhoven University of Technology, Smartmatic-Cybernetica Centre of Excellence for Internet Voting OÜ, the University of Salerno, GRNET, the University of Edinburgh, GUNET and Input Output Research (IOHK).”
In terms of pricing, ADA is trading in the green today, just like the other digital assets on CMC.
