Spanish telecom multinational Telefonica agreed to collaborate with the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) to launch a network for the development of blockchain-based solutions.
This initiative will include Telefonica along with 64 tech parks hosting 8,157 Spanish companies.
The official announcement reveals that the goal of this initiative is to apply targets set by the UN to eliminate poverty and also drive the economic developments in Spain.
This project is set to begin with an experimental phase of three months to trail and analyze various processes that can be enhanced with the help of blockchain tech and applications, according to info coming from the online publication the Daily Hodl.
