Ripple and Madonna will team up in her efforts to raise donations for a charity that focuses on helping orphaned children in Malawi.
The charity is called “Raising Malawi,” and it has been set up by the superstar herself.
She’s definitely got very close associations with the cause, and she will be pleased to welcome Ripple on board, according to the latest news.
Ripple said that they plan to make XRP donations. Madonna posted on her Facebook profile that “Every dollar raised will go directly to meals, schools, uniforms, and healthcare. I want to come together with my friends, fans, and supporters to change the lives of Malawian children and let them know they are nurtured, protected and loved. Through their generous commitment to this organization, Ripple will match each dollar donated to this campaign.”
The fundraiser managed to raise $28,943, so this means that Ripple will be donating at least the same to this cause in XRP.
The target figure is of $60,000, and the final sum given by Ripple could be enormous.
