NASDAQ Listed A New Index Featuring Six Altcoins; XAI Fund Offers Exposure To Monero (XMR)
NASDAQ is making some new waves in the crypto space after showing increased support for the digital assets for a long time.
A while ago it was reported that the stock exchange operator decided to add Brave Coin’s XRP Liquid Index (XRPLX) to its platform.
Starting May 1st, NASDAQ has been sending real-time data on Ripple (XRP) via its Global Index Data Service.
The index provides real-time information on rates of 1 XRP with quotes in US dollars. Information on the platform will be updated every five minutes.
NASDAQ lists a blockchain-focused index
Now, the online publication the Daily Hodl notes that the US-based NASDAQ listed a blockchain-focused index.
According to the website that we mentioned above, “Defix (DEFX) is the first altcoin index following popular Ethereum-based, decentralized finance projects (DeFi). The six cryptocurrencies are said to be the most promising in the sector: Augur, Gnosis, Amoveo, Numerai, Maker and 0x.”
The online publicaiton also noted that “the index is up 14.86% on Thursday, soaring past the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite, up .17%, .29% and .30%, respectively. It’s currently available on Tradingview and Google.”
Exante’s XAI fund offers investors exposure to XMR
It’s also worth noting that back in 2012, Exante’s Bitcoin fund became one of the most profitable hedge funds in history, and this offered overall returns of 70,000% since the launch, which is enormous.
Also, the company launched the XAI fund, which offers investors exposure to various cryptos, including Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Monero (XMR).
It seems that consumers have the ability to invest in the index via a Defix fund.
This way, consumers will gain exposure to leading DeFio projects via a secure and accredited platform.
Speaking of Monero, we just reported that the online publication Altcoinbuzz noted that Zcoin had some pretty exciting things that they addressed during the Invest: Asia 2019 event.
It seems that Monero is ready to use Zcoin’s privacy protocol.
