Ripple teams up with firm to run CBDC and crypto experiments
Ripple Labs has partnered with SUPER HOW?, a research and development firm in Northern Europe, to conduct experiments on crypto assets and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
The collaboration is called the Axiology project, which focuses on a tokenized securities and settlements infrastructure on the XRP Ledger.
The objective of the project is to test and release digital assets, including stablecoins and CBDCs, to enhance regulators’ trust in the security and safety of these transformative digital assets.
The Axiology project is a tokenized securities trading and settlement system that facilitates multiple layers of current capital market infrastructures to coexist on one technology layer, resulting in greater process efficiencies, synergies, and new business models.
This collaboration is in line with Ripple’s dedication to promoting innovation and advancing the adoption of blockchain technology in the financial industry.
As per Ripple, the partnership aims to assist regulators in evaluating the safety and security of cryptocurrency assets.
The DLT Pilot Regime presents an exceptional opportunity for Ripple and SUPER HOW? to contribute towards enhancing the safety and security of digital asset markets for all participants.
By subjecting the DLT Pilot Regime to rigorous testing through the Axiology project, regulators can gain unparalleled assurance about the resilience and security of digital assets.
