SBI e-sports participants could be paid in XRP

Via this new exciting partnership, any player for the SBI Esports who chooses so will be able to earn their salaries in Ripple’s coin, XRP, says an official SBI press release.

It’s also worth noting that this is not the first foray of XRP into the world of gaming. Back in 2019, Ripple’s investment arm, Xpring, and the blockchain gaming company Forte formed a $100-million fund to bring blockchain gaming to the mainstream.

The main goal that the fund has is to integrate the blockchain tech and XRP in existing games

The fund’s goal is to integrate blockchain technology and XRP into existing games with more than 50,000 daily active users, according to the online publication the Daily Hodl.
