Trezor Is On Its Way To Monero (XMR) GUI, Says CTO

An announcement on Reddit coming from Trezor’s CTO has made the Monero community excited. He just posted “Trezor is coming to Monero GUI soon …

Trezor is a hardware wallet which offers enhanced security for handling Bitcoin and more crypto private keys.

Unlike the traditional cold storage methods which include offline storage and paper wallets, Trezor makes secure payments without having to expose the private keys to a computer that might be compromised.

Trezor is coming to Monero GUI

A Redditor asked “Can we have unit tests that show every kind of Monero transaction being accomplished correctly, help avoid that change address issue and things like it. Assuming said tests don’t already exist.”

The Trezor CTO replied “We do extensively test our code. See the following test directories for test with “monero” in the filename,” and he offered two GitHub links.

Someone else said “I hope you do more than just unit tests e.g. system tests on a test net coin. Integration testing ect with hw…Unit tests is rarely enough to catch all bugs. I want Trezor to be the hw that focus on quality instead of the ledger which seems more interested in supporting as many coins as possible…” The CTO responded: “If you have any ideas on how to contribute with testing you are welcome to send it our way. Also, the whole source code is open source, you can build it now and start testing.”

Anyway, we recommend that you follow the Reddit thread yourself.

Binance supports new Monero trading pairs

Binance has just revealed that the exchange added two new Monero trading pairs: XMR/BNB and XMR/USDT.

The trading was announced to begin on 2019/03/15 at 4:00 AM (UTC).

The crypto exchange already has many cryptos listed on the platform, and these new trading pairs come as an addition to XMR/BTC and XMR/ETH pairs that are already available on the exchange.
