Ripple and XRP have been making headlines a lot lately, and the San Francsico-based firm continues to make efforts in order to boost the XRP ecosystem, but also to push the mainstream adoption of the digital assets XRP.
The other day, it’s been revealed a significant XRP-related achievement – Ripple just announced a new product – a loans platform.
This is centered on working capital lending.
In a new job listing, the firm said that they are looking for a director of product management to spearhead the platform.
“This person will bring a new loan product to market from concept to launch for RippleNet customers.”
More than that, Ripple’s director of product said that he is considering launching an XRP-powered e-commerce payments platform.
Keeping the tipping service XRP Tip Bot alive
Ripple-backed XRPL Labs creator Wietse Wind teamed up with Uphold which is a crypto-friendly platform.
The reason behind this is to keep the popular tipping services XRP Tip Bot alive.
In a Coil post, he explained that the XRP Tip Bot was about to be shut down due to a new regulatory bill in the Netherlands that requires crypto custodians to register their businesses.
He made sure to point out to the fact that the time constraints that were involved in the regulation process and the massive costs made him get in touch with Uphold.

“The Uphold team went all out to help me, to allow the XRP TipBot to survive.”
This new partnership will require XRP Tip Bot users to link an Uphold account in order to continue and use the service. This way, users will be able to access Uphold’s wide-range of services, including conversion of fiat money to crypto and vice versa as well.
Another thing that users will be able to do is to connect the Tip Bot balance to more social media platforms.
