A team of independent devs developed and launched the XRP TipBot Mobile app, which comes with TipBot platform integration, and allows users to send up to 20 XRP (XRP) to others by just scanning a QR code. According to the developers, this XRP TipBot Mobile app is available on both Android and iOS.
“And it’s LIVE! The XRP TipBot Mobile App. Now available in the Google Play Store and Apple AppStore. Up to 20 XRP (XRP) per tip. Tell your favorite restaurant, bar, pub, store, friends, family,” said one of the devs, Wietse Wind, on Twitter.
However, pay attention not to confuse this new XRP TipBot Mobile app with the already existing one, XRP TipBot, and which allows users on Reddit, Twitter, or Discord to send small amounts of XRP (XRP).
To use the XRP TipBot Mobile app, you must transfer the desired amount of XRP (XRP) into the in-app wallet or on the TipBot platform.

TipBot platform is integrated with the newly launched XRP TipBot Mobile app
In other news, TipBot platform announced earlier this week that it embedded on the Coil platform, the creation of the former Ripple’s CTO, Stefan Thomas.
“I am very proud to announce the integration of Coil with the XRP TipBot. Congratulations to the Coil team with their launch, and special thanks to Sharafian and Baltazar223,” said the same Wietse Wind from XRP TipBot on Twitter.
Coil, which was recently in the news for collaborating with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Mojaloop, tries solving the problem of paying content creators for the content they come up with.
Now, however, the TipBot platform is integrated within the newly launched XRP TipBot Mobile app which allows users to send up to 20 XRP (XRP) to others by just scanning a QR code. The new app might indeed become very popular given that the Ripple’s XRP is increasingly more popular.
