100 Million XRP Are On The Move, According To Crypto Whale Watchers

Crypto whale watchers are currently tracking some huge XRP transfers that have been taking place.

The online publication The Daily Hodl reported that the most recent transaction that has been performed sent 100 million XRP which are worth $31.2 million from an unknown wallet to another one on Wednesday.

The transaction could be Ripple’s

It’s been reported that traders speculated that this move could be Ripple itself who is moving a part of its XRP holdings to an institution or crypto exchange.

These transfers are usually coming from wallets that have been previously identified as Ripple’s.

These Ripple wallets are known to be distributing XRP via OTC.

This transfer came after a move of 15 million XRP this Tuesday from an unknown wallet to the crypto exchange Bittrex.

A move was of 17 million XRP from an unknown wallet to the exchange Gatehub on Monday.

  • 15,499,503 XRP worth 4.8 million transferred from unknown wallet to Bittrex
  • 17,908,787 XRP worth $5.7 million transferred from unknown wallet to Gatehub

It’s also worth noting that the most significant whale of the week was seen on Monday. At the beginning of the week, someone moved 300,666,888 XRP (then worth about $96 million).

That transfer has been sent from Binance to an unknown wallet.

XRP optimistic statistics

We recently reported that an extensive survey of the XRP community is showing that investors are not interested in selling XRP at all.

The Daily Hodl reports that XRP researcher Leonidas Hadjiloizou spearheaded the survey of 474 people.

According to the results, 94% of XRP investors are in it for the long-term and plan to hodl.

More than that 52.3% are convinced that XRP will hit $100 or even more.

Also, more than 21% of the respondents said that they are expecting XRP to hit even $1,000.

Other than this, Ripple and XRP have been having a great year with lots of achievements and enhanced adoption.
