Charles Hoskinson Analyzes Cardano Rust Open Source Project

Cardano’s founder and the co-founder of Ethereum Charles Hoskinson has discussed the anniversary of Cardano and the new Cardano Rust Project.

He said that Cardano’s Rust is the first open-source project that’s aimed at widening the reach of the technology in order to bring in a bigger range of third-party developers.

Cardano Rust Project is extremely important

Hoskinson also explained that the project is highly important for more reasons.

For starters, he said that it would be opening up Cardano to the vast community of Rust developers who don’t necessarily have the knowledge of Haskell or the ability to code.

“It proves an important point, namely that the Cardano platform stands for itself, independent of its Haskell implementation. The Rust SDK serves as a proof of concept for the fact that any language can build on the Cardano platform,” Hoskinson said.

He was also asked what is the most important factor about Cardano since one year has passed since the crypto has been released.

Hoskinson answered that the Rust project was something that the team was very proud of and the project has been an exciting one for the team as well.

Rust is a kind of boost for the second year of Cardano, according to him.

Hoskinson addressed Cardano’s achievemnts

Hoskinson also said that since the launch of Cardano’s ADA there had been various key moments worth mentioning.

For instance, back in May, IOHK teamed up with the Ethiopian government to explore the applications of the technology in the blockchain. These included even coffee supply chain traceability.

“We also continued to drive blockchain knowledge forward through the establishment of many blockchain development training courses, in Barbados and Ethiopia,” Hoskinson said.

He has been open various times and said that the primary purpose of joining the crypto and blockchain business was that he could get the ability to contribute to the developments of the world that we are living in.
