Is Copy Trading Profitable? Fomo’s 7 Biggest Wallets Over 30 Days, 5 Green and 2 Red, Copied on Banana Gun

Copy trading can be profitable, and the data shows how wide the spread is: of the 7 biggest Fomo wallets, 5 were green and 2 red over the last 30 days on GMGN (8 Oct 2026), from frank’s +$863,301 to point farm capital’s -$303,240. Banana Gun lets you choose the wallet and cap what each copy can spend.

Fomo, a self-custodial social trading app, shows every trader’s followers, trade count and PnL. Those are all-time profile totals (read 30 Sep 2026), and they say little about this month.

A Telegram trading bot copies what a wallet does after it does it, so the recent window is the one that touches your balance.

Each Solana address below comes from Fomo Wallet Finder (30 Sep 2026). The 30-day numbers are GMGN’s, pulled 8 Oct 2026. If wallet mirroring is new to you, here is how copy trading works.

How did Fomo’s top 7 wallets do over the last 30 days?

Ranked by 30-day realized profit on gmgn.ai, 8 Oct 2026. Brackets show each trader’s all-time Fomo profile PnL (30 Sep 2026). Buys and sells are transaction counts.

  1. frank (@frankdegods): +$863,301, 16.6% return, 702 buys and 736 sells (all-time $3.5M). 498g1rVnFcnjBjpfw1xyqA1WvgQXUU8RWuELjxkjAayQ
  2. TheSolstice (@The__Solstice): +$195,722, 43.8% return, 1,221 buys and 470 sells (all-time $7.2M). 4ugDhHJ8XDXAeABmrNmGffFaLbJb9BkPyiFGVSV9ocwo
  3. Salem (@Salem1299534): +$28,223, 5.1% return, 6 buys and 12 sells (all-time $6.2M). 2yXwy5Dsa1XtEXcsrkFVRJeyuWD3qKkMN3pP3p5VTW3V
  4. Unipcs (@unipcs): +$6,306, 5.8% return, 65 buys and 199 sells (all-time $14M). 2heJbC32Tpfcb3nbUb5ER61K11FGZVfVGtVnDm6LDogF

  6. change (@change): -$14,627, -11.1% return, 21 buys and 66 sells (all-time $2.3M). J9WiAZKf8JnCkHFL8fLCCXdEgdoLjLRqU2EGsDjdqYga
  7. point farm capital (@pointfarmcap): -$303,240, -4.5% return, 21,179 buys and 4,580 sells (all-time $10M). Beqv6dzTcjV2eodo8RRXCiCcnSYrS1vkQKhfqwHXqeit

Why the all-time leaderboard and the last 30 days disagree

Unipcs shows $14M in all-time Fomo profile PnL and realized +$6,306 over the last 30 days. point farm capital shows $10M all-time and -$303,240 this month.

frank sits sixth of the seven by all-time PnL and first by 30-day profit. A ranking built on lifetime totals rewards whoever was right longest ago.

Salem and change fit the same pattern. Salem has $6.2M in all-time Fomo PnL and made +$28,223 over the 30 days on 6 buys, while change has $2.3M all-time and sits at -$14,627.

The window you copy from decides what you get, and the Telegram trading bot only executes what you pointed it at.

What makes copy trading profitable for the copier?

Your result is the wallet’s return minus your worse fills. A copy executes after the copied trade, so on a fast move you pay more than the wallet did, and the more people copy one wallet, the further behind your fill lands.

Trade count matters as much as profit. frank placed 702 buys in 30 days, which is a lot of capital moving, so the "Spending Limit" setting (a total per wallet) and "Buy Fixed" (the same amount every time) keep the size in your hands.

A wallet with 6 buys a month, like Salem, gives you almost nothing to copy. A wallet with 21,179 buys, like point farm capital, gives you more trades than your account can fund.

On GMGN, TheSolstice posted the best return on cost at 43.8%, but on $431K bought. A big percentage on a small base is still $195,722, not millions.

How do you copy only the green wallets with a Telegram trading bot?

Check the 7D and 30D columns on the Solana Tracker FOMO leaderboard (solanatracker.io/leaderboard/fomo) or on gmgn.ai before you add anything. Then open Banana Gun, send /copytrade and tap "New Copy Trade".

Paste the wallet address, add a description, select your wallets and toggle "Inactive" to "Active". Set "Buy Fixed", "Max Market Cap", "Buy Only Once" and "Spending Limit" before the first trade fires.

The same copy menu runs beyond Solana. On Robinhood Chain, Banana Gun copies t

When a wallet turns red, toggle it back to "Inactive". The copy stops, and the wallet’s history stays on the leaderboard for you to re-check.

Check the window again every few days. A 30-day number from 8 Oct 2026 will not describe the wallet on the 20th.

Banana Gun’s docs warn that some target wallets buy pump-and-dumps and use copiers as exit liquidity. Read a wallet’s recent trades in a wallet scanner first.

When does copy trading lose money?

point farm capital placed 21,179 buys in 30 days and still lost $303,240. No human copy setup follows that pace, and a "Spending Limit" would be used up fast, after which further trades fail.

Salem made 6 buys in 30 days and none in the last 7, so a copy trade on Salem would have sat idle all week. TheSolstice was green over 30 days and red over the last 7, at -$43,525.

A wallet that wins this month can lose next week, and your fills land behind it either way. The "Active" time setting decides how long a copy runs, so it can end on a date you picked instead of on a bad week.
