It’s almost a month since Bitcoin experienced the third halving and there is all kind of optimistic predictions in the crypto space about the price of the most important coin.
The halving has various outcomes, and an exciting one is the fact that the cost of transacting on the Bitcoin blockchain fell by more than 78% in under two weeks.
The median Bitcoin transaction fee fell by 78% from May 20 to May 31 – dropping from $3.95 to $0.84, according to data from Bitinfocharts, as cited by the online publication CryptoPotato.
McAfee makes fun of people who believed his $1 million BTC prediction
In other news, speaking of Bitcoin-related predictions, one really famous one was the production made by Bitcoin advocate John McAfee.
He gave a price prediction for the king coin a while ago and said that it would reach $1 million by the end of 2020.
Now, he’s obviously ditching the prediction and back when he made it, he was saying that if it doesn’t turn into reality, he will eat his private parts.
He is obviously moving away from this prediction. You may recall that if this does not come true he will eat his private parts. This was back i 2018.
He made it clear that his prediction was made just to get more people in the crypto wagon.
He joked about all this during the past weekend, slamming people for believing him and saying that they should have known better.
Put a different way:
If Bitcoin ever hit $1 mil, it’s market cap would be greater than the GDP of the entire North American Continent.
What idiot could believe such nonsense?
