Tron had a busy year and the project has been both acclaimed and criticized at the same time.
Tron managed to achieve a lot of things since it migrated from the blockchain of Ethereum to the main net.
The network was also able to prove its decentralization further by introducing Super Representatives (SR).
The SR of Tron contributed a great deal to the massive success of the crypto project.
They made some important decisions that helped shape the network, according to Smartereum online publication.
Binance voted itself as one of Tron’s SRs
Just recently, Binance voted itself as one of the SRs of Tron, and this was one important step.
According to the online publication that we mentioned above, the Tron network has been accused of inverted price growth and slow development not to mention a lot of unfulfilled promises made by Justin Sun.
The community comes up with Tron Improvement Proposals (TIPs)
In order to try and make things better, the community came up with something called Tron Improvement Proposals (TIPs).
The SRs would vote upon the proposals before global adoption. Sun recently updated the Tron community on this issue with this tweet:
“Our next effective proposal, Proposal #3 – Removal of GR Genesis Votes, was proposed by @_CryptoChain_ and approved by 25/27 #TRONSRs on 18/11/8.”
A part of the community received the news with excitement, but some users were not that happy to read Sun’s message.

At the end of last month, an essential announcement was the one regarding the TRON Network Version 3.6.5 update and implementation of TIP53 – resulting in expanding the number of 27 representatives to 127.
Regarding the GR Genesis Votes, if you are not familiar with the term, the GR is associated with starting the network and producing the genesis block.
You can learn more about the issue in Smartereum’s original article and by heading over to Justin Sun’s official Twitter account.
