Purchase one-year subscriptions of BitTorrent or µTorrent products
They have just revealed the exciting announcement that customers are able from now on to purchase BitTorrent’s Ads-Free and Pro product via TRX, BNB, and BTC. The news was brought by Tron’s Medium blog.
BitTorrent introduces decentralized currencies into one of the largest decentralized applications in the whole world with the support offered by CoinPayments.net – a leading integrated payment gateway provider for cryptos.
“BitTorrent joins a growing list of online companies whose products and services accept TRX as payment,” Justin Sun CEO of BitTorrent and Tron founder stated.
He continued and explained that “With BitTorrent’s over 100 million users, the move helps increase the use of TRX in online marketplaces while giving consumers more options to unlock value from BitTorrent’s premium products.”
From now on, holders of the leading digital assets will have the opportunity to purchase one-year subscriptions of BitTorrent or µTorrent products, including Ads Free and Pro for Windows.
“Pro includes anti-virus and anti-malware screening, file converting and playability in HD,” the official post on Medium reveals.
The official announcement also reveals the nine necessary steps that you need to follow in order to purchase BitTorrent’s premium products with digital currencies.
Developers should migrate tokens to Tron
Meanwhile, Justin Sun had something interesting to communicate to the community via a Twitter post on November 25.
He publicly called for projects to consider migrating their tokens to his network.
Sun used the current bear market that has been troubling and worrying everyone as the main reason to decide and do this.
“In (a) bear market, (Ethereum) developers should migrate your token to (TRON) immediately,” he wrote.
The Tron founder also said that the whole process should be incentivized by the following factors: a “(zero) transaction fee,” the lack of need to fund transactions with gas, Ethereum compatibility, and the cost-free migration process.
