The cryptocurrencies market surged in the last 24 hours, as all the cryptos record significant gains, as we speak. This event comes after an unusually harsh period for the cryptocurrencies which registered massive losses in the past weeks. Ripple (XRP) and EOS (EOS) for their part also surged, and EOS even skyrocketed in the last 24 hours.
Ripple (XRP) recovered
In the last 24 hours, Ripple (XRP) gained about 6.5%, and, at the moment of this writing, it is trading at $0.469. Evidently, XRP is way behind its historical maximum recorded in January, $3.78, but let’s hope it will at least recover towards $1, any time soon.
For the time being, Ripple (XRP) is on the third place in the market, by market capitalization, with $18.4 billion, while its trading volume in the last 24 hours hit $385.5 million.
EOS (EOS) skyrocketed in the cryptocurrencies market trading day
EOS (EOS), currently the fifth crypto in the market, with a market cap of about $7.3 billion, recorded an appreciation of about 11% in the last 24 hours, at the moment of this writing. EOS is trading now at $8.11, but analysts expect it to perform even better than that.
Also in the last 24 hours, EOS (EOS) trading volume hit the level of about $810 million, surpassing the majority of top 10 cryptocurrencies.
Other cryptocurrencies also surged in the last 24 hours
Among the top 10 cryptos in the market, Cardano (ADA) managed to record the most significant gains in the past day, surging by about 16%, reaching to a value of $0.135.
Bitcoin (BTC) gained 8.19%, reaching $6,414, while Ethereum (ETH) reached $455 after increasing by 9.25%. Also, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) had a great day, at the moment, surging by 13.21% and trading at $750.
Just for the more curious ones, the only two coins in the cryptocurrencies market that are declining right now are Cryptonex (CNX) and RChain (RHOC), but these two are not so important.
In conclusion, the cryptocurrencies market recovered, and all the top coins, including Ripple (XRP) and EOS (EOS), are recording significant gains.
