If you want to find out exactly just how much your crypto is currently worth in cold hard cash, the process that you have to go through can be a bit challenging so to speak.
On the other hand, when it comes to Bitcoin, Google made sure to make this process as easy as possible for a few months now.
We’re referring to the fact that the tech giant created a more than useful crypto-to-cash converter that basically shows up when you search for the word Bitcoin in Google.
Google launched the feature for more cryptos: Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) And Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Regarding Ethereum and other altcoins, Google has been far less accommodating before but now it seems that things have totally changed.
Google has eventually launched the same feature for Ethereum’s ETH, as well as Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Google displays the converter automatically when you search for Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash as you can see in the photo displayed here.
Things work the same as they do with Bitcoin, for LTC and BCH and when it comes to ETH they are a bit different.
How? Well, in order to find the currency converter for ETH, you will have to type “currency converter” in your browser and then select the coin from the drop-down menu.
And this is pretty much all you need to know about Google’s crypto-to-cash converter.
User feedback
Some users are not quite fond of this new converter, suggesting that it’s not the best idea to let Google know anything about your crypto.
People believe that by introducing such data as the kind of crypto that you own and the amount, you’re just offering Google more information about yourself which is not too safe in some users’ eyes. Opinions are varied on the subject just like always.
