Tron (TRX) Is Poised To Overtake Ethereum (ETH), Former PayPal Software Engineer Claims

Tron had a pretty great 2019, and Justin Sun made sure always to keep enthusiasts updated on the massive achievement of the popular project.

Tron had its ups and downs, but overall the project managed to seal some pretty significant partnerships during the past year, and fans are looking forward to 2020 to see even more success.

Tron to overtake Ethereum this year?

Now, it’s been revealed that Udi Wertheimer, an independent developer, BTC supporter, and former software engineer at PayPal, said that Tron would overtake Ethereum sometime in 2020.

The man shared a video on Twitter from Tron’s Justin Sun, who was revealing a new partnership with Poloniex crypto exchange.

He expressed his confidence that Tron will surpass ETH in the fight for decentralization supremacy.

“Watching Justin Sun discussing Tron+Poloniex. Tron is *so* going to flippen Ethereum in the next year or so, it’s not even funny. All of the DeFi bois don’t realize it yet, but they’re going to work for Just when he acquires ConsenSys,” he said.

Tron vs. Ethereum

Wertheimer continued and explained more detailed the reasons for which he thought Tron was more effective.

“TRON: More blocks, more transactions, fast development, business acumen, more use cases, proven to be censorship-resistant so far,” he said.

He mentioned the other project as well, saying that “ETHEREUM: Slow, inefficient, inflexible, development hell, complete lack of business skills, tyrants censoring whatever they dislike.”

When a Twitter user asked him “More Usecases,” Can you name one? From a tech standpoint they are almost exactly the same since Tron copied such a large portion of Ethereum’s codebase,” he responded with the following tweet:

“tech doesn’t matter. What’s wrong with copying? That’s just business acumen. Why waste time on crap? No one cares about innovations in merkle trees. Tron usecase: gambling ETH usecase: slide decks.”
