Tron had a lot to celebrate recently with Justin Sun announcing more than 1.5 million followers on Facebook.
Also, Google Trends showed that the interest in Tron had been continually growing across the world, and it even managed to eclipse both Ripple and Ethereum during the past week. Tron flaunts 76, Ripple, 57 and Ethereum 34.
Tron surpassed Ethereum in daily transactions
Now, Tron’s TRX managed to achieve something else worth mentioning: it surpassed ETH is terms of daily transactions.
On October 18th, Ethereum recorded 565,791 transactions against Tron’s impressive figure that clocked 599,354 transactions.
This basically placed Tron in a leading position by tens of thousands of transactions.
On October 18th transactions on the Tron network saw a massive spike at they were just a step away from 600k.
A day before, the Tron Blockchain Explorer sent out a tweet which said that around 77% of the transactions that are happening on the Tron network were smart contracts.

TRONbet triggered the spike
More than that, it’s pretty certain that the recent launch of the TRONbet game has definitely contributed a lot to this recent spike because more and more users have earned TRX.

After Tron surpassed Ethereum in daily transactions, Justin Sun announced the whole world via his Twitter account that TRX is the bomb.
After Sun spelled out TRX’s numbers compared to the ones of Ethereum, he continued and explained that the new development is only the beginning for Tron and more successes are on their way.

Tron has been said to be about 80 times faster than the Ethereum, and this is another plus for a crypto that has been working really hard to make its way to the top 10 cryptos in the market.
