Cardano has been making headlines a lot lately due to all kinds of achievements and bold plans.
Cardano is attacked by scammers
Now, the team behind the project is addressing the fact that they are being targeted by scammers in a mass attempt.

As some of you might have seen today is that #Cardano (and other cryptocurrency projects) are being targeted by scammers in a mass attempt.

They continue and note the following:
“- We will never give away ada
– We will never contact you first (Officials/Ambassadors/Moderators
– We will never ask you to send your funds or ask for your private key
– We will never promise very big returns”
The team behind Cardano also noted the fact that they are kindly asking everyone to report any scams.
Charles Hoskinson also hopped on Twitter to address the scam issue.

He received various messages on Twitter with people addressing the scams that they found.
Someone said: “the domain names these scammers are using are reg thru [email protected]. I am reporting the videos I am finding on youtube…, but new ones keep popping up. There will be no way to take them all down the way it is going the only way is to educate people in crypto.”
Before this, Hoskinson was telling people that he would be taking a break from social media.
